Bespoke tyre fender solutions to protect quaysides

Tyre fenders are a popular choice for many vessels including tugs, bunker barges, and all classes of OSV from small PSVs to large pipe/lay accommodation barges.

Aircraft tyres, in particular, provide substantial and well-proven damage prevention with generous diameter and width, to provide stand-off between vessels. Their inherent strength can be significantly improved when used in conjunction with tyre hanger plates to spread the load, which in turn provides a considerably longer service life. Where diameter exceeding 1200mm is required, tractor/earth mover tyres are employed in the same manner.
